Always industrial customer expect the installed fire protection system should work effectively at need of hour. How this can be achieved?
There are three very important points to ensure the efficiency and correct function of the fire protection system during fire situation.
         i. Do proper design, based on fire risk requirement.
ii. Use quality device / equipments which are manufactured & tested as per relevant standards.
iii. Engage professional and qualified team with proper tools & equipment to install and commission the system.
Even though points one & two are taken care, third point of proper installation and commissioning is always compromised.

Poor workmanship, unethic engineering practice during installation and commissioning will always create lot of maintenance issues, create failure during fire Detection & fire fighting time.

It is often noticed in my 35 years experience that sometime to do cost cutting the important design requirements are diluted. Further extension work and modification works without considering design factor may cause system instability and frequent maintenance issues.

We always try to collect as much information as possible for our customer, about fire risk area like fire load, building structure, machinery function, process, man power, storage area, communication with other block and future expansion and other relevant details. We always consider cost efficiency design and use suitable products and devices in the system. We engage qualified engineer and highly skilled & trained technician in erection and commission. We provide documentation and training to our customer to familiarize in the system and we provide compressive maintenance procedure to keep the fire protection system always in working condition.

Our documentation, right from the design stage to commissioning stage ensures reliability which provides confidence about the fire protection system executed by us.

The detailed document procedure from design stage to commissioning stage will be discussed in Part-2.
